In a potential confrontation, students are taught three methods of defense: the hard style of blocking, striking and kicking; the style of intercepting an attack and applying wrist locks or submission holds; and the soft style of avoiding confrontation verbally or physically. Each technique reinforces discipline, respect and confidence, creating a well-rounded martial artist prepared for real-life situations.
